A conversation with Illinois State Representative Tony McCombie, brought to you by GunRights4Illinois.com recorded on May 27th, 2019. In this video Representative McCombie, of the 71st district, discusses with GunRights4Illinois Managing Editor, Thomas Kral, issues that the gun owners of Illinois currently face.

 

 

Topics of discussion include rights violations against lawful Illinois gun owners after various mass casualty events. The causes of these events, with a specific emphasis on mental health, as well as currently proposed bill called “Fix the FOID”, SB1966 of the 101st general assembly. State Rep. Tony McCombie also discusses how the Illinois gun owner can get active and participate in the legislative process to try to block some of these bad bills.

And to this day, I fail to understand how the CC should be required, as when this all came about, you had to have a FOID Card to purchase a Gun, and there was a time frame Wait, which was a way to make sure the person was not a Criminal, or other problems. Then came the Class’s that required, what one could just read at home, and as for the required Shoot so many rounds at a target, which proves nothing,
